Those attending included Labour Ward Midwives, Obstetricians and Obstetric Anaesthetists from hospitals as far away as Dublin. Being an integral part of the course, the PROMPT Birthing Simulator was used by delegates throughout the afternoon to practice the set up and running of their own emergency drills. The next 'Training the Trainers' course is planned for this March and is already fully booked. More courses are likely to be added to the RCOG Diary, you can check their website for more information.
